The story of the Goddess's birth has a couple of different versions, but the most famous fits her name the best. Aphrodite, Foam Born, rose naked from the Sea on a scallop shell. Blown by the gentle East Wind, Aphrodite's first stop was on the island of Cythera, and therefore her name Cytherea. But Cythera was such a tiny island that Aphrodite kept moving and eventually got to Cyprus, where she began living in Paphos.

The Constantia Cottage Restaurant is celebrating 30 happy years serving customers in North Norfolk and across the UK, offering a mixture of music and moussaka. We would like to thank the people of Norfolk that gave us the support and welcomed us with open arms when we moved to the picturesque village all those years ago. A base for our musical dream could not have been possible without the encouragement of our local media that opened a global window for my fathers cooking and Constantia Brothers Music. We hope that we may continue to enjoy the beautiful Norfolk coast and it's wonderful people for many years to come. It's with great pleasure we launch the official Constantia website and are certain it will provide a useful resource and regular news updates concerning special events and the development of our new function building. The new venue is creating a lot of excitement with the prospect of furthering our future musical and culinary endeavours. It will add comfort and open up new possibilities for the many Constantia Brothers projects we have been working on. Please enjoy our website and treat it as yours; feel free to have your say on our Great British entertainment's scene that I personally still rate the best in the world. Constantia Cottage Restaurant, Celebrity-owned theme restaurant. The Constantia Restaurant in Cromer is owned by The Constantia Brothers, the place is covered in newspaper articles, posters signed photographs, as bright and glitzy as its celebrity owners. There is a large mural of local and international stars on the wall near the bar, and the entire restaurant is loaded with music memorabilia, making it a virtual shrine to Constantia Brothers Music (CBM) including: Slade, Nana Mouskouri, Alan Haven, The Brother Lees, Bradley Walsh, Darren Day, The Dooleys, BBC's Wally Webb, Kieth Skipper, Kieth Skues and an array of Stars from Cromer Pavilion Seaside Special Show at the end of the pier.
